Anybody got a run down of all the picks in 2014-2015? Seems silly.

Might be Johnny Manziel. I sort of lost track of things myself.

    Re: trades! glorious trades!

I mentioned in another thread but in keeping Chris Stewart don't be shocked if we make a play for Paul Stasny who's an UFA this off season. As we could always shift CoHo or Ennis to wing. That give us Stewart, Stasny and Ennis as our top line and CoHo, Girgensons and Stafford as a 2nd line or maybe we could add another UFA winger. I won't begin to forecast the 3rd and 4th lines as it could be a bunch of young guys or Foligno, Mitchell and who knows what else.

    probably 2-3.

there wasnt a lottery in 99, to my knowledge. i could be wrong about that. but usually, expansion teams dont get the number 1 pick. but they do pick very high.

Stastny ain't going anywhere he went to school here (DU) for two years, than went right to the AVS.

He's coming off 5yr. Contract that was for over $30.M. He just came out and said he would give the AVS a hometown discount on next contract! I suspect they're already in talks. And I can't imagine any scenario that would see the AVS just let him walk away. He's pretty integral to the teams style, and a lot of fun to watch.

There was a lottery in '99. As far as I can tell, expansion teams are added to the lottery with other qualifying teams. The Thrashers didn't win the lottery but were able to move up through trades.
Lehner's history. He just doesn't know it yet.

    ah, thank you! good work.

some people here think the NHL is just going to hand an expansion team mcdavid. not going to happen. they may win the lottery, but the sabres will have a great chance.
