He's been on an epic point/game march and in the past month, and quite frankly is the most skilled player in a lot of ways in this years crop.
He won't be ready next year... Will have to spend another year bulking up like Drouin. That will play into the continued tank for 2015.

Yep he has been on a massive scoring tear the last month .. And according to some Halifax fans most of the time he is NOT riding shotgun with Drouin the only time Ehlers and Drouin are on the ice at the same time is on the Powerplay.. i read that too about the power play.
The most impressive number on this guy was the +/-. He was rated at a +65... that's obscene.
Apparently he he back checks like a fiend and takes pride in his defensive game.
Ive also read some of how Murray is going to be rating players moving forward. It's hard to imagine based on what I'm reading about this kid, that any of the other prospects are going to be rated ahead of him in many categories.
As asswiper pointed out... we all know how Murray was scheduled to see him play... only as u r now pointing out to not say one thing about him in a recent Draft discussion.
this could very well be their guy.

At the WJC Draisaitl played poorly against Canada.. Almost like he knew the Germans were overmatched and he didn't bother giving a effort.. And his Prince Albert Raiders are out of the WHL playoffs Draisaitl had 3 points in 4 games.. I know these are very small sample sizes but it makes me question how he plays in big games and I think his effort isn't as good as the other forwards projected to go Top 6
None of those are #1 line centers.
Agreed... but at this point you take the player you think is going to be the best in 2-3 years.
At least one of those players won't be here when the rebuild takes full effect. If I was a betting guy, I'd say the odd player out is Ennis.

Always a possibility. Or, if a trade can be made somewhere down the road to improve the Sabres, he could be used as trade bait.
