For The Love of God, and Football I Hope The Bills Bring Back The Red End Zones

    This...

    or that...

    Which visual, "pops," more?

Bring back the red zones Buffalo!

    All you need is...paint.

    Is this a, "no brainer?"

It's time to get back on it, Bills fans.

We can either get with this...

    or that....

    What looks like more fun?

Isn't this thread a bit outdated? I mean aren't the endzones blue now?

Yeh, and they're still the same.

Blue end zones with green grass....

Why not got back to what worked and looks better?

            Bud Light or Pepsi?

I wish it was October. My favorite month of the year. Football is in full swing, and the toughest sports athletes in America are all wearing pink.

              Huh?

Why did the Bills end zones turn pink?

Because the Bills used to score a lot of touchdowns and wore out the paint.

Thurman Thomas alone turned both of those end zones pink with all of the red paint on his cleats.

Re: For The Love of God, and Football I Hope The Bills Bring Back The Red End Zones

Analytics is a big thing now in the NFL. I wonder if anyone has taken the time to calculate the difference between teams with, "bright," end zone colors vs. teams with end zones that basically blend in with the rest of the field.

Is their an advantage to having a bright red colored end zone?

NFL coaches look for any advantage they can get over their opponents.

If the numbers say that teams with, "bright colored," end zones score more touchdowns than teams with end zones few people notice, what would you do?

Chip Kelly coached a very colorful collegiate team in Oregon. His team set a new trend for uniform colors that popped. Will he paint the Philadelphia end zones bright green?

                  Come on bro...

The Bills haven't made the playoffs in 14 years, but don't go off the deep end brother.

We're going to turn this thing around and spin it like a dreidel.

The blue end zones are fine.

There have been studies that showed teams in red uniforms had a marginal advantage.

Just from a Bills player uniform perspective a red end zone would help a player stand out.

I mean it really doesn't help the QB when your teams jersey matches the field in my opinion.

Do people actually get paid to conduct such studies?

Anyway, I never thought to think about it before, but those red endzones are far superior than any other color. The OP makes a point.

Sports psychology is a huge field. One study was even done by the university of Rochester.

For both new and returning visitors, the University’s News Center is a digital hub for the latest news stories showcasing the research, accomplishments, expertise, and perspectives of the Rochester community. In addition, the News Center features University announcements and updates from newsrooms and publications across the institution.
