    Packers sign two draft picks

Green Bay - The Green Bay Packers had six of their nine draft choices in the fold by the close of business Tuesday and have 48 hours before the start of training camp to close deals with the others.

Wide receiver Carl Ford and linebacker Steve Josue, two seventh-round selections, reached agreement on contracts Tuesday morning.

Still unsigned are linebacker Nick Barnett (first round), defensive tackle Kenny Peterson (third) and linebacker Hunter Hillenmeyer (fifth). Rookies are due to report Friday and practice for the first time at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in shorts.
