Just like Drury when the Rangers grabbed him, eh?
Grabovski is about done. 30 years old and spent half the season injured. He scored a third of his career goals in one season and it's been downhill since. Last year, Toronto bought out his contract. Granted, the Caps got some decent production, 13/22, for only $3 million. I doubt he'll put up those numbers again...and for $5 million per?
Kulemin might be another story. He might still have some legs but his production has fallen off even more than Grabovski. But both had a decent Olympics. Who knows? Maybe they can both reignite some of that chemistry from that glorious season in Toronto where they combined for 59 goals and nearly helped the Leafs qualify for the playoffs.
