should we wait to put manziel in the bust bucket?

I have believed that manziel's lack of size and his willingness to improvise in college will probably make him a non-viable NFL qb. I'll give him that he was super exciting to watch in college football and he earned all of that. but my gut feeling was that he wouldn't make the jump in the NFL because he'll just rely on his athleticism instead of his knowledge. and for that reason, he'll flame out.

putting that all aside, i saw this link and feel like this is the real reason he isn't going to pan out. He's partying with bieber. do we even need to see him play? :-)

I had Cam Newton as a bust. He tore it up his rookie year, and while he hasn't been great since, he's hardly a bust.

Then again, maybe Jimmy Claussen is a better comparison. He went way too Hollywood way too soon, and that was one of many reasons why he failed.

I think he'll survive the Biebering, Flutie a while until he RG3's, then will Tebow into the CFL. I really think Flutie is his best comparison except the game has changed for the more violent to counter that style.

His style of play will betray him after he gets damaged, and he won't manage to be a standard pocket passer after. But some people survive the partying on talent alone, I think he will then flame out hugely right after.

Didn't help my posted opinion he'd survive the partying on talent alone either. Makes me look kind of stupid. Does little for my self esteem. No helping it.
