BUFFALO, NY (WGR 550) -- The Buffalo Sabres acquired a forward from the Winnipeg Jets on Wednesday night.

The Blue and Gold acquired LW Jordan Samuels-Thomas in exchange for a conditional 7^thround draft pick in 2015.

Samuels-Thomas (6’3, 195 lbs) was drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 7^th round (203 Overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. The Hartford native notched 13 goals and 29 points in 34 games for Quinnipiac University last season.
