A Buffalo Bills prospective ownership group that includes rocker Jon Bon Jovi has conducted a feasibility study into buying the NFL franchise and building a stadium in Toronto, a person close to the situation said.
The study identified at least three potential stadium sites, two in Toronto, including one on the waterfront, and another in the suburb of Mississauga, the person told The Associated Press on Thursday. The person spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because Bon Jovi and his partners, Larry Tanenbaum and the Rogers family, have not publicly revealed details of their plans to purchase the team.

There's NO VALID reason for them to be checking out ANY locations outside of Western New York. They should be disqualified from the bidding.

The bottom line is all this stadium talk is bullcrap until the new owner actually commits some of his own money to a new stadium in 5-6 years.
It will be a game of chicken with the various levels of government to see how much public money they can get.
Of course they have to say that NOW.
Andrew Bergmann, engineer/consultant for the Toronto group: "It's the Buffalo Bills and they will do everything they can to make that work there."

If the Toronto group buys the Bills, they will say they tried but they can't make it work in Buffalo & will move the team in 2020.

Regardless of where the group is from, what if that is true?
What if after raising prices for the next 6 years there are even more black outs?
What if the owner in 6 years simply does not want to put in enough of their own money to build a new stadium?
Isn't the real test of the Bills staying in Buffalo long-term in 6 years and not now?
If that new owner is from Buffalo, the Bills will be SUCCESSFUL in BUFFALO.

I believe you & the others that think the Bills will/should move are the people that will be surprised.
And Sal Capaccio brought up a good point on WGR today.
The Toronto group just has to make a ridiculous demand for a new Stadium that WNY can't meet.
Then they can say well, we have to move.
It reminded me of the lease St Louis agreed to when the Rams moved there.
They agreed the Rams Stadium had to be in the top 5 of NFL Stadiums or else the Rams would be free to move.
Now the Rams are asking for a ridiculous amount of money to remodel that Stadium with the threat of moving if they don't get their way.
This thread is becoming too high on analysis and too low on Bon Jovi jokes.
Let's get this thing back on track.
