All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Latest NFL news ,rumors and stats, including NBA, MLB schedules and more with Draft Schedule
Patient, game manager who makes good decisions in the pocket. Buys time for receivers, displays good pocket awareness, and remains poised under pressure. Displays enough agility to elude defenders and make throws on the move. Accurate, gives his receivers a chance to make receptions, and displays nice timing on passes. Throws a catchable pass.
Former Washington State quarterback Jeff Tuel isn't the first name that jumps off the page when examining the list of prospects entering the 2013 NFL draft at the position, ...
...the Cougars gunslinger is the most accurate in school history, which places him in with names such as DrewBledsoe....
...It's hard to have outstanding accuracy when arm strength is an issue, but Tuel did well enough in what was a vertical spread offense during his time at Washington State. ...Anticipation and ball location are strengths for Tuel on deep passes, as he routinely drops balls into the cradle of his receivers' arms where only they can reach it.
Analysis and predictions for 2013 NFL draft prospect, QB EJ Manuel of Florida State
EJ Manuel...
Accuracy is up and down. Short arms deep passes at times and must continue to work at not placing throws. Footwork needs to be cleaned up. Throws off-balance when uncomfortable in the pocket. A beat late on some passes will get him in trouble. Works through progressions reasonably well, but needs to be more decisive in his throws.
EJ Manuel Buffalo Bills First Round, 16th Pick Timing can be everything, and EJ Manuel certainly picked a good draft to enter as a supremely athletic quarterback who is a work-in-progress as a passer...
Manuel hasn't demonstrated that he can patiently go deep into progressions or process defenses at an advanced level. In general, he wasn't asked to do many advanced tasks as a passer at Florida State. He sometimes looks hesitant to pull the trigger and tends to err on the side of taking his checkdown option. Manuel's deep-ball accuracy is very erratic.

all that draft stuff is irrelevant. They are professional football players now and have had a season and off season to prepare. They should be putting the best QB they have on the field.

STRENGTHS Physically imposing passer. Throws from the shotgun often, but is also effective on play action. Flashes the velocity to stretch the field and throw in tight spaces. Displays good touch on throws to each level of the field, finds receivers between defenders and drop passes over their head. Good athlete with the mobility to step up in the pocket to avoid pressure and take advantage of openings to pick up first downs with his feet. Quick release, though it often looks as though he's throwing darts on shorter throws. Intelligent, high character team leader.
BOTTOM LINE As gifted as any quarterback in the class, with a strong arm and good mobility. Scouts appreciate his leadership qualities and toughness (played through his mom's cancer treatments and a broken leg in 2011's Champs Sports Bowl win over Notre Dame), and hope he can improve on his consistency. Manuel has the velocity and mobility teams look for in a project quarterback.
It's funny how you just look and post ( I can do that too) all the negative stuff and overlook the positive to make your argument. So if the scouts were right on as you say, EJ is that project that is working to be QB that teams look for and there is nothing to say that he isn't progressing other than reports from people that don't matter.
