    You're a bit oversensitive, I think.

The sentiment on Marrone seemed more mixed, but still, with plenty of people supporting the hire.

The point is that if you think that they're the problem, then openly complain about their idiotic decisions at the time that they make them. That's how you express your dissatisfaction, not by giving them another 3 seasons of a pass with a "let's wait and see" attitude.
I don't have the time or patience to sit here and write a dissertation for you on these clowns. It's well known for years on the exploits of these guys if you have half a brain when following this team over the years. So don't be naive and "imply" requests for links and documentation when it's clearly not needed when referring to these individuals.

Re: Marrone and Whaley arguing at Practice Today

This whole situation screams of EJ being forced down Marrone's throat.

I'd bet Marrone has seen enough and wants to go in another direction.

A problem would surface if EJ is Brandon's and Whaley's guy. They're invested in him, because they picked him.

I think Marrone has the mental make-up to be a great coach... a Bill Parcells type. He is in an organization which is going to never allow him to grow into that role.

    Sad actually.

The problem is the same as it's always been... there's no real leadership in this organization. And that fact is becoming more and more evident following Ralph's passing.

Oh and why Brandon is involved in any of this on any level is 100% beyond me.

    he's public enemy #1.

I'm usually not the type that roots for anyone to get fired. Losing a job is an awful thing for people to go through.... but Brandon is just begging for it. what sucks is you know even when he does get canned... he's just the kind of douchebag that has one hell of a severance package written into his current contract.

Don't feel too badly for Brandon.

That douche has his hands into a lot of different business ventures around here.

Perhaps that's part of the problem.

Well, soon there will be a new owner in place that the IDIOTS can blame the last 14 years on.

For all we know, they could have been arguing about politics, or baseball, or legalizing pot. Who knows? Of course, you have invented a complete scenario in your head that has Whaley/Brandon putting up a wall for poor Marrone, and a huge rift existing.

Marrone was totally on board with drafting EJ. He was on record when they drafted him about how they visited Florida State and talked to everyone from the janitors to the coaches and everyone loved him and raved about him. He talked about how impressed they were with him. EJ has not been "forced" on him at all.

The report just came in and the argument was that Maroone thought Miley Cyrus was better than Lady Gaga and Whaley disagreed.

Re: Marrone and Whaley arguing at Practice Today

Look, I agree it's a bad look when our CEO, GM, and HC are squabbling amongst themselves in public.

But all we have to work with is an observation that there was an "animated" discussion where Marrone used some profanity and Whaley threw up his arms.

Is there any indication -- at all -- what the topic was?

    That would be helpful.
