We pulled their pants down in that trade.

Kelvin Sheppard was the modern version of Chris Watson for me.

He was the single worse MLB I've seen in Buffalo in my lifetime.

I was so happy to see him go.

And in one of life's happy little accidents, Jerry Hughes actually turned the corner and picked his game up.

    Good times.

Obviously at this point the colts are a far superior franchise than us in how they are run, but if you look at that trade and the Trent Richardson trade you have to wonder wtf are they doing?

Just goes to show how much more important finding the right QB is over everything else.

You can totally blow pro personnel moves as long as you have a good signal caller.

Hijacking the thread to beat your dead horse.

I will now play Paul Simons' " One Trick Pony " 198 times in a row.

Well, Spikes was a HUGE addition in regards to the run game.

I said EARLY in preseason, That Schwartz would have a defense that plays well against the run.

I also said Spikes would make a HUGE difference in the run game for the Bills.

So far, I have been proven correct.

    Bring on the Bears!

    Go Bills!

Absolutely. Their front office is no better than ours. As much as I dog the Bills brain trust, they've never given up a 1st rounder for a run-of-the-mill RB. Without Luck, that is a 3-13 team.

Yes, that's it exactly. You caught me. The Colts pro-personnel moves have all been mostly terrible, yet they're still a good team. Why? They have a QB. If you have a QB, everything else you do pretty much doesn't matter.

Why can the Patriots get rid of probowl caliber players constantly and still be good? They have a QB.

Yet we clamor for DEs, RBs and WRs then wonder why this team has sucked for the past 14 years.

Of course they played well against the run. Spikes isn't playing MLB - he's being positioned like a stand-up defensive lineman. To save you the trouble of a retort...yes, he's not on the line and yes he doesn't have a hand on the turf.

Add in Schwartz sending in blitzers time after time. There will be a price to pay for that come regular season.

My post had the most amount of sarcasm of any of my posts. Kelvin Sheppard blows.
