You are right about Manuel - he would have been shown the gate.

As to Teul et al...they forked over $ for Orton, he fills the back-up roll - potentially, and keeping 3 qbs on the roster is increasingly rare.

Would've preferred to keep him, despite the lingering memory of that Chiefs pick last year. Wish we could've cut EJ, but we're kinda forced to deal with that charade since he was a first round pick. {cringes}
