Three down, three to go.

The Titans yesterday agreed to terms with two more of their draft picks — fourth-rounder Rien Long and fifth-rounder Donnie Nickey — and now have contracts finished with half of their selections with a week to go before the start of training camp.

Long, a defensive tackle, agreed to a four-year deal with rookie minimum base salaries of $225,000 in 2003, $305,000 in '04, $380,000 in '05 and $460,000 in '06 with a signing bonus in the $275,000 range. His contract also includes a number of performance-based incentives, such as sacks.

Nickey agreed to a three-year deal with rookie minimum salaries and a signing bonus of roughly $113,000.

Both players are expected to contribute early since the Titans are thin at both defensive tackle and safety. MORE....
