      Re: Watkins Watch

Watkins may be the best pure talent I have ever watched on the football field for the Bills outside of Bruce Smith.

He is special. I am glad we have him.

Pace is now 76 catches 1180 yards 10 TDs.

A hair over what I thought we'd get out of him to start the season.

The guy only turned 21 this summer, and he's already a legitimate #1 receiver.

He's basically got twice the reception yardage than anyone else on this team.

I'm not surprised at his overall numbers, it's just a little more than what I anticipated out of him, mostly the TD pace.

Anyone who's the clear number 1 WR on a team is gonna put up big numbers if they stay healthy all year. Watkins was drafted to be and is the clear number 1.

Almost any team would swap 1's and give another one for any of the guys on the list. If he can get to that level, which I think he can, he was well worth the price.

All bets were off with predictions once Orton was made the starter.

Who was it here that first suggested that the Bills sign him again?

I actually think he will beat these numbers. His first four games was with Manuel at QB and that held him back.

Wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin revealed an interesting pre-draft strategy he concocted: He intentionally ran a slow 40-yard dash at the Indianapolis scouting combine.

Seantrel Henderson intentionally partied his ass off all through college so he would drop to the Bills pick in the seventh round also.

Well, I tend to think he lied. But it is not totally unrealistic. I might have done the same. Consider this:
Would you rather play for the Raiders and earn 6mill per year. Or for a playoff team and earn 3 millions a year.
I will never understand how one would put himself in a bad position (think Raiders or well ... maybe ... Bills) for money if he already is assured to be a multimillionaire.
