i lived in hoboken for a year to take my first consulting job working at at&t (bell labs, cool!). what i remember most about the area is that the entire coastal strip along the hudson opposite the city was super bad except for hoboken, and central nj was super nice. and that newark looks like a real life gotham city except the only white people there are the crazy ones

What I remember about times in NJ is that whatever you want done, you have to first fork over a five dollar bill. I suspect that cemeteries there have skeletal arms and hands thrust up through the soil with palms up awaiting the five.
