Donald Trump said as much in a tweet he posted this afternoon about last week’s purchase of the team by Kim and Terry Pegula from the estate of Ralph C. Wilson.
“The Wilson family should thank me. Pegula overpaid for the @buffalobills because of me!” The Donald said in The Tweet.

Trump's involvement was half-assed from day one and the Bills are staying in Buffalo. He can say whatever he wants- it changes nothing.
Trump is irrelevant. He's having a hard time dealing with it.

This statement is coming from the guy who said he's the only one that will keep Bills in Buffalo. Yet, here he is proclaiming he drove the sale price up to a local guy that is keeping the Bills here. What a buffoon.
