Could we get a garbage time FG at least? I could use some points from Carpenter

These refs are garbage. That was a horse collar tackle

This is hilarious... They still "had time", and EJ throws it at Fred's feet.
Bye Bye Brady...

Agreed. The comparison between Phillip Rivers and EJ Manuele was striking. The Bills defense did a very good job of shutting down Rivers, and yet he looked so much better than Manuel.
Manuel's throws were often inaccurate - he threw some real wobblers too; not tight spirals, which isn't even good high-school caliber. Worst, he has a proclivity to throw HIGH and near field up the middle, which really puts the receivers at risk of being injured, because they have to jump up to get the ball, and therefore expose their rib cages to brutal hits.
Today's game showcased all the negatives in his scouting report. The first two games were won because the circumstances of those games didn't require much from the Bills QB; all he had to do was not screw up and do some dink & dunk passing. Today, more was needed, and it was lacking, and even worse, incompetently executed on his part.
He's really the weak link on this Bills team, IMHO. IF he had potential, he'd have shown it by now - it's his second season after all.

This lowly cart.... it hits harder and has a higher yards
per play average than the Bills' offense!

I usually hang on to hope much longer than in this case. Wow. Rattled to say the least. Throws were amateurish.

If EJ stays the starter, the coaches / management are goners.

Which would be a shame because Whaley has improved this team. EJ and Hackett and Marrone can leave tomorrow as far as I'm concerned.
It will be interesting to see if Whaley continues to hitch his wagon to EJ's, or if he starts to spin, spin, spin his previous tremendous support for his acquisition.
This should come as no surprise. Manuel was foolishly drafted from a very poor QB class, and he's living up to (or down to?) his scouting report.
