He's 20th in Completion% and 18th in YPA. Not sure how that makes him the 32nd rated QB. QBR seems to be punishing him for something (sacks?) pretty heavily.
Bottom line is if he stops floating 3 or 4 of those passes yesterday then we're fine with him. I'm still not blaming him for the 100+ yards in penalties and the almost complete lack of pressure on Rivers though. Those two did little to help the cause.

Same stat I looked at... But had to remove passers with 40 or less attempts... Not enough sample size for those.
Two totally different situations. Stanton has had the luxury of sitting down for the last 3 years (aside from a few games where Stafford was hurt).
qbr measures "results during game changing moments". In essence your performance on 3rd down means more then 1st, your performance in the red zone while trailing means more then when you're winning... stuff like that.
