McDavid already has 2 assists after the 1st period tonight against Saginaw..
Not a accurate comparison..Different leagues and 10 years apart things change in junior hockey but still a interesting comparison
For what it's worth, the Q has always been known as the higher scoring league of the 3.
To compare to last year.. Connor Brown led the OHL in PPG at 1.88 and Connor Brown was a overager in his last year of eligibility. Last year Sam Bennett was at 1.57 PPG and Michael DalColle was at 1.41PPG.. For McDavid in his draft eligible year to be at a 2.88 PPG pace is astounding

I went to this game. What a treat to see some real hockey. Way better than the dumpster fire I watched the next night in Buffalo.
Strome looks strong too.
Heard about this at the game. I wondered if maybe he sat out. It does not appear so.
Lehner's history. He just doesn't know it yet.

It was an nice road trip. Could have been in the "epic" category if the Bills won.
Left Athens GA at 5am Friday. Got into Erie just in time for dinner and the game. Left for Buff immediately and hit Mighty Taco.
Dropped my buddy off on Grand Island and regretted the Mighty as I nearly crapped my shorts before I got back to the old North Buff homestead. Got in a nice 3.5 mile jog (training for the old Turkey Trot in a few weeks) and a sauna before heading down to Chef's with family and the Sabres game. I knew the Sabres were going to get crushed, but holy crap. Wondered out loud halfway through the 1st period with unmistakable sarcasm if the Sabres would ever get a shot and the douche from Pittsburgh next to me reassured me they would probably get a few. Gee, thanks. **** you. Went to the Old Pink afterward and schooled some Penguins fans in pool.
Sat upper deck for the Bills game, just about top row. Bird's eye view at about the 20-yard line scoreboard end. Lovely view of Bryce Brown's fumble, Chandler's bobble, and McStupid's giveaway. After the game, walked through ECC, cut left to get to the car on Big Tree and ended up walking through some guy's yard which was torn up from all the people he let park there. But he didn't like the fact that we were cutting through without paying. The fat **** let his dog out which started nipping at our legs.
The ride back to Athens was understandably subdued. We had fun, but the trip will always be a somewhat bitter memory.

Mcdavids hurt. Punched the glass on accident during a fight.

Update: McDavid will see a hand specialist tomorrow, as per TSN's Bob McKenzie. He adds that when people hear injury, they assume "fracture"(and Jeff Marek has basically moved to that presumption if you follow his Twitter feed), but it can be anything from a week to a couple of months. And we won't know anything until then.
Victor Fernandes just tweeted that McDavid's out indefinitely with that hand injury.
How long is unknown, but he is seeing a hand specialist tomorrow(Wednesday). AND there is NO confirmation that he suffered a break.

When ever JATM makes a post like this, It's a sure sign you should look into it, He's covering his ass for something...
So lets take a look. http://theqmjhl.ca/stats/show/type/t.../ls_season/175
And whatcha know???? A New York Rangers prospect was 6th in the Q in scoring last season.
JATM had no problem posting daily updates on how Grigerenko (Only 39 points) was doing in the Q (Duclair 99 points )
So Duclair was 6th and Grigerenko was not even in the top 100..
Hence, The numbers are "Historically Bloated"
This ****ing guy is a trip...
