All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.

McDavid with 77 points in 30 games which is a 2.56 PPG clip.. To compare him to Mitch Marner who leads the OHL in scoring Marner is at 2PPG and Dylan Strome 1.88 PPG
After only registering 1 assist in Eries 4-3 lost to Guelph last night McDavid had 2 goals and 3 assists tonight in Eries 8-2 win over Peterborough.. McDavids PPG currently is 2.55

It must be a league wide conspiracy then because with almost 100 points in 40 games, the entire league is letting him go by.
You could be onto something, They don't play defense in the CHL, But my comment was directed at the video that was posted,They parted like the red sea and just let him go.
the CHL is certainly higher scoring then the NCAA. which is what makes eichels season so impressive.

More skilled players usually take the CHL route...But the US-U18 and the NCAA are starting to bring in better talent and doing a good job with them.
They score a ton in the CHL because the Forwards job is much easier than that of a Defenseman, Coaches in the CHL don't have the time really to teach defense.
The Goalies are also behind the curve..
It takes much longer to develop Defenseman and Goalies...a couple season in the CHL is not long enough, Hence the silly scores..

It's nice to NCAA hockey on NBCSN....
The system is going to have to change soon in regards to the CHL, There are way to many players in limbo, They are to good to be playing in the CHL and not really learning anything, Yet they are not ready to play in the NHL, And if you rush them into the NHL, You can damage their psyche..
And the AHL is not even an option..

I think a first round waiver should allow first round picks to enter the AHL at 19 Instead of 20
