myers seems to be showing more emotion on the ice. thats a good thing. hes starting to get angry. thats part of what makes chara so good.

Allow me to play connect the dots. I work in the hotel across from the arena here on grand rapids. All visiting ahl teams stay here. Tonight, I saw a team issued sabres duffle bag in the lobby. I know the sabres wanted Mantha... Hee in grand rapids.... Who knows. But I'm assuming it was a scout.
I thought Mantha was hurt. Is he back from injury? If not sounds like they may be scouting someone else.
he was hurt, but i had heard he was going to be back soon. i know mantha was the asking price. they could be looking at additional pieces. as it is, i couldnt read the tag on the bag, so i couldnt see for sure who it was. but since it was a team issued bag, i had to assume it was a scout.
Myers was brutal in that Panthers game, He is still making the same mistakes he made 3 years ago.
What in the world was Darcy thinking throwing all that money at him for no reason what so ever.

He's an average D-Man who has declined since his 1st NHL season, Just like DelZotto.
The only thing Myers is above average in is height.
Miller did get the moon, exactly what I thought they'd get. Two roster players, a first, and a high prospect. Plus the conditional first which they didn't qualify for. Then they flipped halak for a starting goalie.
Rumor is the red wings don't wanna part with their first and Mantha. Understandable, I'd say. Mantha by himself though would be a winner.
Plus, with Myers history of slow starts, this year looks alot better then the past few. Hes hardly a problem for the sabres right now.

ok, so, theres a rumor floating around that murray called detroit and lowered the asking price, and holland still rejected.
from what it sounds like, the deal was kindl and larkin for myers. its suspected that there was more coming from detroit, but larkin (2014 first rounder) was a main piece. larkin projects to be a first line center with leadership qualities. why holland balked at the trade is holland builds his team from the middle, and couldnt part with their top center prospect. detroit fans are livid, if this is indeed true, many calling for holland to be fired. those that have heard about this rumor, which i guess came from dreger.
