the Sabres are back to losing and Spike is getting edgy and snitty again.. The next few months should play havoc with his emotions
The Sabres are 27th. Good news, they've shown signs of Improvement and can still get Strome most likely if things stay this way.

Got a rare chance to see the Sabres on TV last night. They looked sloppy through 2.5 periods. That short-handed goal by Girgenson ten minutes into the 3rd really turned the tide. At that point it almost seemed like a race to see which Sabre would slap in the tying goal.
How this team can be allowed to exist with nobodies like Flynn, McCormick, Benoit, and Deslauriers and uderachieving losers like Hodgson, Stafford and Meszaros is beyond comprehension. Worst Sabres roster of all time IMO.
Everyone who complained about having Roy, Connolly, etc back in '06 - '07 should be embarrassed now to see how bad it can really get.

It's the SAME team. The only difference is Nolan's lighting a fire under their asses.
