All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Look... I want to see him succeed as much as any Sabres fan.
Im giving you my honest assessment of him. He needs continued work on his skating and his weeeee hips (strength). Let him do that for a year or two in Rochester with the occasional timely call-up. It will be apparent when he needs to stay.
I'm being honest too. Remember when grigo was up the first time? How out of place he was? Nevermind production, he just was terrible. Now watch reinhart. Is he elite? No. But is he in over his head? No. He's going out there and blends in. Because he's not out of place. 3 times this year the sabres scored this year because of his willingness to go to the front of the net and screen a goaltender. It shows he's willing to do the little things. The production will come.
But, if the sabres feel rochester is the best place for him, cool. But right now, I don't feel that option needs to be exercised.
You avoided my question because you know that Reinhart will never be the player Pastrnak is and will be.
You invested all that losing and got a lump of coal.
I would be in denial as well.
I absolutely do not believe that. Reinhart is an elite prospect whether you like it or not. And I'm hardly the only one to think that. But it's not like your validation is needed.

comsidering the hockey culture of Blashill and the Red wings philosophy on prospect development, I'm surprised you don't agree
Hometown is 45 minutes away. Just jump on the expressway and go east.
My boys are playing Silver Sticks Regional. If we win, we coming to Port Huron for the Silversticks championship in January. You should make the drive if it happens.

No, I generally do agree. But you also have to remember the detroit hockey is a machine designed to compete year in year out. The sabres aren't there yet, so letting the kids grow together makes sense. Most prospects absolutely need time in the AHL. Honestly, reinhart will probably spend time down in rochester at some point. But he did have a great camp, and he is showing flashes.

Our first game would be Fri, Jan 22nd at 3:00PM against the Midland, Ont regional winner. Like I said though... we've got to get through our own regional first.
