All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

The Sabres were trying to coax him along for a while there. In '12-'13 and '13-'14, he was getting 18+ TOI. As anyone could see, it wasn't working. He had 44 points, but the expectation was, and rightly so, higher. And the +/- was abysmal. The next year he was own to 13 TOI. With the Preds, he's down to 10.
I'm not worried about +/-. He had 32 points in the lockout shortened season and a productive season the next despite the awful team the sabres iced. He did his part those two seasons, offensively at least. Defensively, he was terrible.
I know it's early and there's a whole lot more hockey to be played but be honest who here thought this team would be .500 and in 5th place in the Atlantic (as the Sabres leapfrog two teams with this win over the Panthers)
After a slow start, it's good to see this thing turning in the right direction. While I missed the game, I see (again) the opponent with double the shots on goal. They've got work to do yet.

We came into the game top 5 in shots per. Twice in the last week we've been heavily outshot and won. I guess I don't see the issue when we're winning the statistically outlying games.
IF the Sabres end this season with anywhere near a .500 record, the rebuild will be a tremendous success. Review the record of the Chicago Blackhawks in the first year (2007-08) after their tank & rebuild. They didn't make the playoffs in that first year, but they bounced back from a bottom of the standings team to a solid .500 team; then it was upward and onward from there.
IF the Sabres have a 2007-08 Blackhawks kind of year, then GMTM's rebuild is wildly successful and on-track for playoff contention in 2016-17 and forward.
This lowly cart.... it hits harder and has a higher yards
per play average than the Bills' offense!
