All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

2-1 loss. Kane with the goal. Eichel an assist. Great to see lehner get off to a good start in his return
Good start? He sucked in the Boston game. And last night he was inconsistent at best. I think we'd be better off staying with Johnson. Let's hope this isn't going to be an EJ Manuel/Rob Johnson moment where we start him just because we gave up a big fat pick for him.

yeah, he's played 4 whole games in the last year, he should be in all star form by now!

I didn't say he should, but anyone that said he has had a good start back from the injury hasn't watched the games. He was flopping all over the ice last night.

Shaking off all that rust and stopping the puck is the most important thing right now, but alas, you are correct, I haven't been able to watch the games as frequently as id like and didn't see the game yesterday.
But from the sounds of it, lehner is playing well, and thats a positive step forward after a bad training camp and subsequent injury in the opener. Gonna take him a few weeks to find his groove, but so far, so good.
That game against Detroit was brutal. It looked like last year's squad. Granted, they had at least 3 Amerks putting in significant minutes in Varone, Cal O'Reilly and Schaller, but that's no excuse for being thoroughly outplayed. Literally the only highlights were a few nice hits and killing off that sloppy 4 min penalty (which was immediately negated by the goal).
Tonight's game is on national TV again so hopefully we'll see the team that played the Caps and not the team that played Detroit, but I doubt it.
Losing their 3 main stars soon due to age. *shrugs* detroit hasn't done anything really in a while. They aren't a cup calibre team, but they do make the playoffs. While right now, they are clearly better, I'm not sure that it's going to be that way once datsyuk and zetterberg and kronwall all retire. Larkin looks pretty damn good, but he and zetterberg have insane chemistry. Hard to replicate chemistry
