Second, it seems strange that someone who won't shut up about how bad this team is can't understand why someone who likes the team might be happy when the team actually shows flashes of competence.

How dare they win !
I root for the Sabres to play well but I am not disappointed to see them lose. I will be real disappointed to go through this misery of sucking and not land Eichel or McDavid.
Three wins in a row. The game was on local TV so I was able to watch. They are still giving up too many shots but they got the win.
Embarrassing for the caps to lose at home to such a bad team, and I love seeing the Caps embarrassed. Their 9 fans are one or two losses away from giving up on the season.

Tim Schaller gets the call up due to staffords injury. Armia missed last night. He's dinged up.
Ennis better cut the **** or he's going to find himself on the trade block, This is not the year for goal scoring.
I can really see the Sabres ending up with the 3rd or 4th pick in the 2015 draft.
There is a lot of competition for the top 3 spots, And well, We know Buffalo has that dark cloud hanging over it.

Look for Sabres to go after Emelin tonight! He was ONLY fined $11,021.51 for illegal hit to the head on Sabres captain Gionta in last night's win over the Canadiens. If this game gets out of hand tonight the NHL only has themselves to blame they could have suspended Emelin but they chose to give him the fine. NHL never learns DO THEY!

Now that the garage league has chosen to fine Emelin and not suspend him for a head hit to 12, anything that happens tonight is on the NHL
Bobby Clarke should just be league commissioner because the league does pretty much what he wants. He wanted obstructions so its back in.
Suspensions are too long for blood and violence so they're scaled back. Glad we're back in the 70's.
