All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

i figured making a single thread for game day threads would be better since this forum is slower in the sabres department.
anyways, they sabres are getting taken to school. but they seem to be generating SOME offensive pressure on svedberg, who looks like a decent young goalie.
.....svedberg, who looks like a decent young goalie.
If the Sabres like him, they should make an offer.
The Bruins develop their goalies for a long time in the AHL where Svedberg has been. I believe he was the AHL goalie of the year in 2012-2013.
The Bruins have signed journey goalies to play back up last year and the year before. They leave the Bruins to start or challenge to start in the NHL after a year.
The Bruins have Subban in the AHL developing as well.
I am sure the Sabres could get Svedberg for their 2nd round pick next year. Perhaps even a conditional 2nd round pick.
The comparable would be Bishop being traded to TB last year.
Anyone actually going to stay up and watch this cluster**** tonight? I don't want to but free CI is ending soon and the Sabres aren't exactly going to get a lot of nationally televised games this year so I'll at least watch some of it.
I saw the first and some of the 3rd before I fell asleep. Some great opportunities early but they couldn't capitalize. The first PP was one of the most pathetic I've ever seen.
Moulson looks a lot like Vanek in the 26: always right three but rarely able to bury it.
The first goal was on Hogson- still a defensive liability. Ennis has been the best player so far to date. It's probably age but Gionta is surprisingly average. He has not impressed me at all.
I watched the LA game until they got their second goal. Up until then, there was a chance a puck might bounce off Stafford's face and into the net or something like that. It wasn't going to happen twice though.
They look like peewees out there. Bad peewees. They couldn't string together two passess if the franchise depended on it. One goal over four games and with 10% of the season played they are on pace to score under 100. On the bright side, they are only averaging 3.5 GA. Could be much worse.
