Dallas has a ****-ton of talent, I don't think anybody expected the team to be able to compete consistently at that level at this time.

Blues win 2-1. Ullmark is damn impressive. He's a little slow at times, but I think he's being cautious and trying to control himself. Which is good, the rest will come. Which is awesome, cause he's already extremely impressive
This team still blows.
Brian Gionta is playing with our franchise guy ROR. So is Moulson for that matter.
Eichel and Kane are on the same line and taking their turns at trying to be one man shows. Reinhart is playing solid but should be centering that line, and taking advantage of both of their wills to control the game. My guess is they have some tacit agreement with Eichel that he's playing center... and that's it.
the Legwand, McGinn and Deslauriers line is the only line actually playing like a line right now.
outside of that, there's little chemistry that I see.
that... and Ennis is back to doing his I'm worse than JT Brown on a 3rd line impersonation.
You didn't expect it to go from terrible to playoff over night, did you? Kiddies gotta grow, plenty of youth not here yet. It's certainly coming along nicely, but lots of work left. This is a gap year.
