The stage at which our OL is at and the fact they aren't going to create outside lanes, we need a back with visions (aka a fred guy), or a smasher who just runs into whatever little opening he gets and carries a guy for about 3 extra yards.
I don't think CJ is washed up, i think we made him obsolete. it's just sad that they didn't realize this earlier in the season to load up the roster with the RB's they'd prefer and send CJ for a pick or something.
I could be wrong, but i think if CJ gets to a team that has faster linemen that pull effectively, he'll become a great second option picking up the long runs after a stronger back has worn down a defense. i don't think he'll do that with what our OL goal seems to be.
