Did he play so terribly or was the team that bad? It wouldn't be the first time Buffalo jumped on a guy with a big contract when the team wasn't winning. Either way, I'm glad he is in Winnipeg playing lights out. 10 points in 14 games and a +5.
Stafford is playing well too. 11 points in 15 games including 6 goals. Game tying goal against St Louis and the shootout tying goal before Ladd wins it. He might be playing himself into staying.
Bogo looks like he is playing pretty well too. Being plus anything on a team that loses a ton is a feat in itself. Kane is the big wild card on if the trade is even or not.
he was a tire fire for stretches of time. and for a while, he would play fine, but it seemed once a game, he would be caught out of position and would allow a goal, and it was glaring. not sure what flipped for him, but last year, he began finding his game again, and it snowballed into what it is now. he clearly can play some sport.
Well then I'm glad he figured it out. If he plays at this level for a full year, he will win a Norris.
