With the news of Kane being injured and Bogo still injured, it just feels like the right time to mention the fact that Drew Stafford has 5 Goals. /troll job.
Stafford was good here for a few seasons. Was rushed though. Glad he's doing well.
Obviously, he was not enough over the hill for the Leafs.
Wow...that Central Division is killing it...38-17-5 combined. The Atlantic is next best...34-26-9.
Looks like Montreal will have to wait another year to tie or beat the record set by the Leafs and Sabres of opening the season with 10 wins. They came up one short, losing to Vancouver 5-1 in Vancouver and with Ryan Miller in goal. Congrats to all the Canucks! Nice way to get your first home ice win, beating the hottest team in hockey.
Yeah it is a brutal division. The Jets were 5-2-1 going into last night with 11 points tied for 4th with 2 other teams.

40 shots and the constant grind was an excellent outing on the road. Ennis' goal was freaky but highly athletic as well.

Anyone have any thought's on Foligno's booted goal? Does it matter that it went off either his other foot or the defenseman before it went in? I mean, after kicking it, it was not going anywhere near the net. It only went in after redirection.
After further review, no goal.49.2: A goal cannot be scored by an attacking player who uses a distinct kicking motion to propel the puck into the net with his skate/foot. A goal cannot be scored by an attacking player who kicks a puck that deflects into the net off any player, goalkeeper or official.

I thought the same thing. His kicking motion bounce off someone else before getting to net. It seems like an NFL rule to codify the bounce. Once you kick the puck towards net, you are violating the spirit of the rule. It should be no goal

He is 35 years old next week and a FA after this season.
His career with the Bruins is over.
This is an opportunity for the Bruins to play a younger more offensive player.
