All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that the team has agreed to terms with defenseman Marc Staal on a contract extension.

Ryan Miller's shut out streak ends at over 200 minutes. Was 2 min short of 3 straight shut outs. That is a good stretch even if it was mostly against the Flyers and Canes.

And speaking of Miller....Ryan's wife, Noureen deWulf, will be one of the participants in a new "reality" series to air in Canada called Hockey Wives.
John Hemingway(facing certain death): I want to see Buffalo win the Super Bowl.
David Coltrane(threatening John): Nobody's going to live that long, pal.

Picks to Deal?
Speaking to radio station WGR 550 in Buffalo, Sabres GM Tim Murray said that while the team will almost assuredly keep their early first round pick, they would be open to moving their two later first round picks.
I grabbed this off TSN. Not sure if this has already been reported.

i saw that as well. id like them to move one and keep one, or keep both if murray decides to draft a goalie high.
