All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Buffalo & Montreal are talking on a deal that would give the Habs Brian Flynn...the Sabres would get a draft pick in return, as noted by TSN's Bob McKenzie on Twitter.
Seems to be a depth deal on the Habs' part.
(Update: McKenzie adds that the deal is done. Buffalo gets a 5th round pick.)
John Hemingway(facing certain death): I want to see Buffalo win the Super Bowl.
David Coltrane(threatening John): Nobody's going to live that long, pal.

2016 5th round pick, whoopee. PHT has us on the first picture and this is all we got so far, squat.

Last week, Murray said in an interview that we are in 30th place and need assets.
Then he moves a young player for a 5th NEXT year?
Don't get me wrong. I don't think losing Flynn is a big deal. It just seems inconsistent with what Murray said. Having picks for the future is great but at some point those picks need to become productive players.
