The New York Islanders announced Thursday that defenseman Johnny Boychuk has agreed to terms on a seven-year contract.Financial details of the contract were not released, but Newsday reported the value of the contract is $42 million, for a $6 million annual average value.

Yup.

I would rather have OHL hockey in Hamilton than Montreal's AHL farm team.

The arena is too big in Hamilton. Built in the 80's to attract a NHL team, it holds 16K they use a tent to close the upper deck down to 9K.

Better to catch the Ice Dogs in St. Catherines in their new rink which is much smaller
