The fact Murray got some vauke for all these stiffs he traded today is awesome. Tori Mitchell? Really?!?! Flynn??? LMAO. Murray knows what he's doing. Get your tank on people. 19 games left to glory! Ari vs Buf will be a riot indeed to watch!

Last week, Murray said in an interview that we are in 30th place and need assets.

Then he moves a young player for a 5th NEXT year?

Don't get me wrong. I don't think losing Flynn is a big deal. It just seems inconsistent with what Murray said. Having picks for the future is great but at some point those picks need to become productive players.

I think Murray believed that Flynn had reached his "cap"....meaning he wasn't going to get much better overall. Flynn is 26, not exactly a youngster so I think Murray pulled the trigger hoping to get a pick that would at least turn out having more upside, or at the very least he could package it for someone else.

Wasn't Flynn a college free agent signing?

Yes....he went un-drafted, played for the Maine Black Bears. He's been in our system since 2011. Frankly hasn't done much, fairly big guy...I think will mostly be used for penalty kill. Our team being what it is he was given more minutes, but didn't do anything substantial
