All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Lucic is a shell of his former self, Great move for Boston!!
Add to that Colin Miller(formerly of the Soo Greyhounds)and the 13th overall pick.
John Hemingway(facing certain death): I want to see Buffalo win the Super Bowl.
David Coltrane(threatening John): Nobody's going to live that long, pal.

That's the problem. He no longer plays reckless and plays it safe like his buddy Horton did.
That's fine if he was willing to settle for $5M per year but he wants over $7M so he can continue to coast like he did the past 2 years.
For those calling this a tank, the tickets in Boston are very expensive these days. The team tanks and the place will be empty. There are other things to do in Boston in the winter.
These moves are to get their cap in order.
If they trade Krejek, Bergeron or Rask, then you can call it a tank.
The Chowds' tears will be delicious for us Western New Yorkers. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

If the Bruins could trade into the Top 10 without giving up any of the 1st round picks they acquired today it is realistic for them to take Mathew Barzal..Travis Konecny and Oliver Kylington.. All small players though.. I hope the Bruins take Paul Bittner and Brandon Carlo lol
Just an add-on re the Dougie Hamilton deal: TheScore.ca reports that Edmonton was in pursuit of trading for Dougie, but they would not trade D Darnell Nurse.

Yeah I read the same thing that per a source, Edmonton offered B's 16th, 33rd & 57th picks in this draft but accepted 15th, 45th & 52th from Calgary for Hamilton. It makes little sense unless Edmonton shut the door once Nurse's name came up.
