All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
While true... another C doesn't hurt... Especially when we're giving up Girgensons (3rd or 4th line) for Matthews (1st or 2nd line).
Also... And perhaps a bigger point... It takes Mathews away from an up and coming division rival and places him with us. That's an equivalent to a 99 yard pick six in NFL speak... 14 point swing.
The Chicago Blackhawks traded forwards Bryan Bickell and Teuvo Teravainen to the Carolina Hurricanes on Wednesday in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2016 NHL Draft and a third-round pick in 2017.
We have a trade. I like it. Teravainen is a young player with upside, and bickell will give the canes vet depth. The canes got better today
