For those of you who espouse conspiracy theories of the NHL "screwing over" the Sabres in the draft, it is exactly this type of behaviour that is not good for the game and results in changes to the draft lottery.

This is a long season, but I can't recall a team purposely sucking this bad for multiple years.

I've never really been on the pegula train myself. That said, I think Tim Murray hiring may have been the first great move made since he bought the team.
