MacKinnon.. Tavares.. Stamkos.. Eichel are all pretty close.. Stamkos didn't have quite the hype that Eichel does.. Paul Hamilton was asked again if Eichel is the 2nd best prospect in the last 10 years and he said "Without a doubt"

Sources have told Paul Hamilton (WGR 550) that Eichels desire to play for Buffalo is "a lot more" that it is for Arizona

MacKinnon.. Tavares.. Stamkos.. Eichel are all pretty close.. Stamkos didn't have quite the hype that Eichel does.. Paul Hamilton was asked again if Eichel is the 2nd best prospect in the last 10 years and he said "Without a doubt"

I like the idea of eichel being like tavares, just with better wheels. Tavares is an average skater, maybe even slightly below. That's his biggest flaw.

I also saw eichel compared to modano, but they may have been saying he's the best US prospect since him.

Jack Eichel with no points in USAs 4-1 win over Austria in exhibition world championship hockey.. Eichel was the 3rd line center playing with Steve Moses and Jimmy Vesey.. This USA roster is weak only one Olympian from 2014 (Justin Faulk) is on the team... A few college players.. A few minor leaguers.. A few Americans playing overseas on this team

I'm watching the US Russian game right now. Eichel has an assist and looks pretty good. Did have a give away in his own end but worked hard to get back in to the play.

Coach put him in for a defensive zone face off in a one goal game with a min left which says a lot I think. He looked good and definitely not out of place. He did get muscled off the puck a few times in his own end but the strength will come as it does with all young players.

Another PP assist in the Belarus game. He sets up passes real well with little feints that you don't see a lot of.
