Ironic that you picked a goal by Max, as one of my criticisms of Ennis is that he can resemble Max in the way he holds the puck too long and relies on his speed to attempt to skate through two NHL defenders....

I've seen some of the same tendencies in Ennis. To be fair, I didn't buy CI this year and have only seen maybe 3 games since the free preview ended, and in those games Ennis seemed to be improving in this regard. And his goal numbers suggest that he is continuing to improve. So he hasn't caught Afinogenov Syndrome yet. But I really think this is the nexus point for him. He's at that stage where if he doesn't figure it out this season, he never will.

Max was never the best player on the team though this is not really a reflection of either his or Ennis's talent. :-)Lehner's history. He just doesn't know it yet.
