A video played Saturday night on the Florida Panthers' scoreboard drew criticism from Sabres' owner Terry Pegula.
The segment highlights the difference between South Florida and Western New York by interspersing clips of November's lake-effect storms with videos of Florida’s mascot lounging in the sun.
“People died in that storm,” Pegula, a Florida resident, told Panthers General Manager Dale Tallon during a press-box conversation held within earshot of Miami Herald reporter George Richards. “That’s not funny.”
