2009 was a long time ago...Schaub has been done, guy got nothing left but injuries, sacks and INTs.
And anyways, enough with old retreads already, I thought we would've learned that by now.

If they brought Orton, EJ, a rookie and Schaub I would not hate it. To be honest Cutler just removed himself from the bills I think because of his moody bad attitude. Kaepernick is just not a passer so I say emphatically no to him as well
Your going to laugh...but
If I were the Bills, in order for me to take this HUGE Financial Burden I would also want picks!
Think of it this way. The Bears have 3 options:
1) Keep Cutler & be on hook for entire $118M & suck for next 5 years.
2) Cut Cutler & take a $57M hit on Cap. This is a huge loss which would hold team back for a few years.
3) Trade Cutler: this is the best option but who had enough Cap & Need that they would take him and take on the financial burden? No many or maybe no one!
So, if Bears are set on life without Cutler, they may have to trade him for close to nothing or might even need to give up picks. In the later case, it makes taking the financial obligation on, worth it for some teams. If the Bills got a 1st & 3rd and Cutler, I would pull the trigger. It comes down to this: is giving up a 1st worth $57M?
This Happens in NBA all of the Time!

Billszone 2013 Prediction Contest winner!
god help me for saying this but sanchez would be a MAJOR upgrade at qb for us.
i wouldnt have an issue with sanchez starting in 2015
yes it was him not the defense and so on
comparing QB to QB not team to team
sanchez is alot better qb then orton at this point
im not saying hes my top choice or the lottery winner we have been looking for
but hes a much better qb currently then mr orton
in fact i think he was covering dez bryant last weekend and was covering desean jackson today

i almost forgot sanchez missed 2 fgs today too
Eagles offense was averaging 30+ per game before Sanchez came in, not so much since.
31+45+20+43+33+14+27+24=237
29.625 a game
ok lets say D and special teams scored like 4 tds during that time
still sanchez is not why the eagles blew up
like i stated before he would be a major upgrade
maybe we go after him maybe we dont
all i know is we will have options better then orton come april and free agency

Actually, Stanton is a clear and substantial upgrade from the sad sack Orton.
According to the best and most accurate QB rating system out there, the Total QBR, Stanton is rated #14 with a 58 rating (out of 100), and Orton is a disastrous #28 with a 39.3.
Orton sucks. His only two good games of the season were against the Jets.
Even Cutler is rated higher than Orton at #20 with a 55. Last season, Cutler was in the top 10, rated #7 with a 66.4.
Orton must GO!! EJ is probably not the answer either, but, at least he has a limited amount of experience and can get better. Orton is going into his 10th year, and he has NEVER shown the ability to be a constant starter in the NFL.
The Bills need a stable, experienced competent QB to take over while they look to draft the guy that will be the long term answer.
I would take either Stanton or Cutler in a heartbeat. With either of those QB's the Bills would be in the playoffs at this moment.
Cutler's problem is he can make costly turn overs that hurt his team. Not to mention big arms are great but at the same time if you're playing a defensive keep the game close kill the clock offense like the Bills have been it's not a match for Cutler's skill set. The truth is what the Bills need is an Andy Dalton/Alex Smith/Russell Wilson type. I think Orton can be that but don't think he has the passing pieces around him. Maybe Sammy's injury is hampering him as we don't seem to be going to him as much as we did in the early season. Robert Woods is developing but at times not stepped up in the red zone. I have been saying since preseason that Chandler isn't consistent enough at the TE position. Toss in we all know how dismal our offensive line/running game has been this season. In term of Stanton, I think he's helped by Arians who is a better mind than Hackett but not sure he's skillful enough to be better than orton is. I think Bradford is but his inability to stay healthy is a major red flag to me that means if we have him we had better have an above average backup.
