    Re: Orton

QB is a position of leadership. You just can't carry yourself like you could take it or leave it. And Orton does that.

C'mon. We just came off of a Ryan Fitzpatrick stint. That guy was more limited, but fought like a warrior. Took the pounding. I'm not accepting any excuses for Orton's "I could care less" attitude.

I think the half-assed slide against Denver did me in with Orton.

Orton sucks. EJ sucks. Lets see how much more EJ sucks than Orton. Haven't seen Orton play a good game in six weeks.

He is absolutely brutal and absolutely not start next season.

I would stick with him now over EJ of course, but I don't think he'll be around next season.

They'll make a move for someone. There is no way Whaley doesn't know this.

Ah Fitzpatrick, he probably would have thrown one more INT, but would have surely thrown that slant which ices the game.

One other poster said this too, but it's not the first time where on a 3rd and 2 or 4, Orton heaves the fly to a covered WR. Or it happens on 3rd down from the opponent's 38 or 40, leading to a punt instead of a FG attempt if we just get a few yards. Epitomized by this play and the 3rd and 1 slide for -1 yards last week, there is just no situational awareness, which is very surprising for a vet.

    Re: Orton

The strength of the team is Defense, something I think we can all agree on.

Opposing Defenses know how to exploit the Bills weakness/inexperience on Offense. Ortons #1 WR Sammy Watkins, is a rookie, his #2 WR, Robert Woods is a 2nd year player, Hogan doesn't have a full season under his belt.

Without Ortons veteran leadership Buffalo could just as easily be 5-8 IMO and we should all be thankful for Kyle Ortons contributuions IMO.

I'm not saying Kyle Orton is the long term answer , but he is better then anything the Bills have had behind center since Bledsoe.

I have no problem with the playcalling. My issue is with the execution. A competent QB hits Woods (who would've scored easily) on that 2nd and 4 with 4 minutes remaining and the game is over right there. Hackett just calls the plays...

Can we all just agree they both suck and need to be replaced?

And it was because of Brady. Brady got HIT by the Fins in this game, but you never see him turtle like Orton, he fights for every yard.
What does that have to do with Orton's inability to call anybody out for making a mistake because he makes them on a regular basis also? Did you miss my point?

Bills offense is a lower form of putrid. If that's even possible. Rancid maybe?
