Sabres now 27th place in the league with 28 pts. (33 gp) when last week they were 24th in the league. Phx is right on the Sabres heels with 26 pts (32 gp) and for everyone that thought Car. was tanking it looks like they are starting to win now they now have 22 pts. (31 gp) then there is Edm with 20 pts. (33 gp) as bad as they are they can still climb out of the basement and catch the Sabres.

Sabres play @ Bos tonight, @ Det on Tues, Isles on Sat, @ Ott Mon. and close out 2014 with the TBL on Wed.

Assuming this season continues in this way, will this be the 2 worst consecutive seasons in modern NHL history?

I tried looking it up but couldn't come to a conclusion.

One can't go by points given the OT point.

The Sharks had 2 seasons of 11 and 17 wins in a row. Only a handful of ties in both seasons. That was thier first 2 in existance though.

Oilers have been bad over the past 5 or so years but I don't think they have been this bad.

You really have to be fully committed to be this bad for two or more years.

i think the fact that Florida made the finals in what? the 3rd year? With a team of nobody... This Sabres team is tragically bad... blind squirrel with no arms bad. Don't exclude any team.
