Why are You Rooting for the Pats???

Bills lose to the Raiders & are eliminated from the playoffs and a good number of the posters are looking forward to a thumping vs the Pats.

Granted the Pats will most likely win, but why look forward to it?

The real contradiction is that most posters are in favor for winning meaningless games even when it cost us the opportunity to draft a prospect like Luck.

So why is this game different? Why are so many of you rooting for the Pats?

This Game has no draft implications and if the Bills should beat someone I would prefer it's the Pats!!!

The only theory I can come up with to root for a Pats blow out is if you want immediate drastic change and you believe a blow out will result in that.

I suspect Pegula is going to stay the course next year so a blow out will not cause change.

I'll root for Buffalo to win vs. NE and if it means Tommy Boy will retire after one more SB win then I will root for the Pats to win it all this year and the A-hole and his sweatshirt wearing coach can both retire and ride off into the sunset and clear the AFC East next year for us. I think the Bills will keep it close for a quarter or two, then someone will make a critical mistake...probably Chandler...and the wheels will fall off, as they usually do.

What sucks is that if a miracle were to happen and we somehow beat the Patriots, all the fun would be sucked out of the win, because it would be meaningless.

Honestly, I am incapable of rooting for the Patriots, but if/when they win, it's also meaningless--which is, like the above situation, sad.

I'm sick and tired of the on the job training we've been forced to watch. The GM and the coaching staff are raging mediocrities, whose upsides are extremely limited, as evidenced by frequent egregious lapses in judgment.

Pats will be sitting wuite a few players. I don't expect Connelly, Endelman, Wilfork, Jones, Arrington to play. If the offense is playing well I expect Brady and Gronk to be pulled at the half.
