Bills hosting free-agent QB Tyrod Taylor

    http://espn.go.com/blog/buffalo-bills/

The Buffalo Bills are hosting quarterback Tyrod Taylor on a free-agent visit, according to a source.

Taylor, who played at Virginia Tech, served as the backup to Joe Flacco for the past four seasons after being drafted in the sixth round in 2011.

Intriguing talent, he's sort of like Michael Vick with better passing accuracy. T-Mobile (his nickname) could be a dark horse candidate for starting QB if the Bills want him.
Let's Go Bills, make it happen!!!

6-1 215 Was ACC player of the year 4 years back. Started 41 games, winning 34.

Supreme athlete. Not the worst idea.

He's not as accurate as Vick or for that matter EJ. He's basically never played in 4 years in the league. I'm against carrying a 3rd QB which is what he would be here.

you have an old cassel who was hurt last year and ej who has beenhurt in the past.

i agree the 3rd qb typically is useless on a team with an unbreakable starter. i don't know we have that.

plus the 3rd qb is allowed to get on the field during a game and can be used as a utility player occassionally.

Camp body, or guy to stash on the practice squad in case of injury.

If he was the primary backup then he isn't likely to be practice squad eligible.

This is a waste of a pick unless their moving on from EJ.Taylor is a backup and never has been or will be a starter in the NFL.If you want to bring a guy in thats been a starter bring in Moore and let him,Cassell ,and EJ compete for the job.

It's called due diligence. I have no problem with the Bills bringing in whatever QBs they want.

And they were saying the same things about Brady when Bledsoe went down.

Mobile and inaccurate is something we're stocked up on

I think I'd rather see a flyer on a Bryce Petty or that Colorado St. guy in the 3rd or 4th if we're looking to add another QB.

That said, I have no problem with them kicking the tires.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?

EJ might set the league on fire with our new "just give the ball to Shady" scheme.

Very athletic but I want to see him in camp.

Hopefully, he can hit the ocean standing on the beach.

He might be a decent signing with some upside. I'm sure Rex picked his brother's brain about him.

    I had that thought.

The initial reaction is Taylor is just a camp arm/camp fodder type.

In reality, he may just have reduced Manuel to that status, once the coaches see him in camp.

He was primary backup to Flacco but never got in with Flacco's perfect health the last few years.

I remember him well at Virginia Tech. ACC player of the year. His youtube highlight film confirm he has actual pocket presence and the uncanny ability to make something out of nothing. Sensational athlete. Not a bad arm and did complete 60 % of his passes with a subpar OL.

6-1 215 . That's probably why he lasted until Round 6 but he's very intriguing. Like the signing on the cheap.
