Chris Stewart and our 1st and 2nd round picks (both via New York Islanders) to Boston for David Pastrnak and Malcom Subban. Stewart's salary is retained by us. Expect trade in a couple of weeks after WJCs end when Boston realizes they can't count on an 18 yo to man the RW spot on the 1st line.
Tyler Myers, Drew Stafford and Jonas Enroth to Toronto for Joffrey Lupul, Stuart Percy, James Reimer and Toronto's 1st round picks in 2015 and 2016.
No thanks on Reimer. Guy has holes. Terrible skater.

Reimer wants a shot at starting and you won't find a guy who will work harder than him. Let him be the starter for two years as we develop Subban and others.
Plus, Toronto is up against the cap... the goalie swap saves them a million. They need the cap space to sign Franson in the offseason. This helps them.

i like pasta too, but 2 firsts? i feel like those could be used to differently, and help round out the team, like using one to draft a goalie high, and get a middle 6 forward kinda guy.
I fall in love with certain players.
i get that, i do as well. but i dont think selling two firsts, major assets for trading or rebuilding a roster for him is the way to do it. i feel its a gross overpayment, even if hes the real deal.
Two late round firsts isn't overpaying for a guy who is the "real deal".
AND the Bruins don't know that?
