I used to go to all the playoff games & tape them. I have tapes of all the playoffs & Super Bowls from the 4 Super Bowl seasons. When I got home I had all these requests for a copy of the videotape. I had 2 VCRs & was able to make copies for anyone who wanted one. I ended up sending a copy to a friend in Depew who was a high school teacher. He got someone in the video room of the high school (it was a private school so it wasn't on the taxpayer's dime) to make copies of the tape for anyone who wanted one.
I got lucky because I set the game up to tape for either 4.5 or 5 hours counting the pregame & postgame. I got the whole game in, but the tape ran out right in the middle of when I had the tape set up for ESPN's Primetime recap. 20 years later I was able to get the 2nd half of ESPNs highlights when there was a special on the comeback game.
