    Super Bowl Sunday food

    What do you make? Is there a staple that you bring to any party you go to? I am not a cook by any means, but I am wanting to make something different this year, but don't know what. Any ideas? Can be anything, food, a delicious beverage, whatever you make that rocks at a party.
    My faith doesn’t make me perfect, it makes me forgiven.

        I order out every year and get some chicken wings. Occasionally some pizza to go with those wings. Chase it all down with some beer.

        Can't go wrong that way, and nobody really has to do any work.

          buffalo wings, dill dip bread bowl, nachos & salsa, shrimp, beer;

          main course-
          usually 'something' and pasta (my wife makes the best linguine with shrimp, olive oil and garlic ever, no idea what that dish is called... but i love it. can't get enough of it).

          this year i'll probably go with surf and turf... i'm going to give her the day off and do all the cooking. Not super jazzed about the game, and it's mostly her family coming over this year. Figure the guys can hang out by the grill. hope the weather holds. I can cook steaks on the stove i just don't like doing it.

            Do you have a designated thing to bring? Like a dip, a dessert, whatever?

              good question. it's been a while since i went to someone else's superbowl party... the last time i wasn't hosting one i was AT the superbowl. i have vague memories of bringing standard stuff like nachos and salsa. or bringing beer. in short all store bought with no prep time. if me and the wife were going to a party i'm sure she'd want to make something though

                I think we're sticking to the standard fare this year...deli-prepped pizza and wings, and then italian meatballs, veggie tray, various chips and dips, and the traditional Super Bowl theme cake all made at home. No shrimp this time, though...my daughter and I are the only ones that eat it, and she won't be here.

                  Nope whatever I want. The hosts are getting it catered from Blue Coast Burrito

                          Homemade chili.

                          I love my pizza and wings, but they're my Bills gameday menu. Gotta go a little different on Super Sunday (even though I don't give a good God damn about the game this year).
