Eichel would be a perfect fit for Buffalo. I could see him tailgating at a Bills game.

McDavid is too big for the city. He would not be used to the smell.

Connor McDavid loves tailgating at Bills games.. He and some of his Erie Otters teammates tailgated last year when the Pats were playing the Bills at the Ralph.. Nice try though

I can see both sides of the coin. So the real question, which would take some investigation is......

    - Is this common place for him, or merely a "stupid human" trick?

After a big win he gets happy feet, someone gives him a beer and he has a night to remember? Not such a big deal, even underage. Many of us probably had one or two before being legal and one of two of us have probably been close to knuckle-dragging drunk too. *shrug* doesn't faze me if that's the case......now flip the coin....

On the other hand, if found out he attends numerous parties and is getting blitzed consistently....red flag....the ego will be inflated and he'll think the rules don't apply to him.....I'd say there is some subtle, very quiet investigating to be done to find out. A 'one-off' is no big deal.....a consistent pattern....something else
I've upped my standards...now up yours

From everything I've gathered, Eichel is a very humble, down to earth, hard working kid. I think there is nothing to worry about.

Alcohol abuse is nothing to ignore... no matter the age or situation.

Between Alcoholism and the Bills losing, most Buffalo wives / GF / mistresses / have seen the worst of it.

It becomes a disease, My old man died because he gave it up, His body went into shock.

I gave it up before I turned 23, Did not want to become dependent, So many people are alcoholics, But don't think they are.

And see it as a harmless joke.

    It is not abuse.

    It is "rebuilding" brain cells.

    Never heard that line before.

Yep, Because that tolerance comes out of nowhere.

Back in college, we drank Almost every night. I've gotten older and my drinking days are few and far between. But when I do go out, I go hard. But getting drunk once every few months hardly makes me an alcoholic. I'm certainly not dependent on it.

That's what we used to say when someone spilled their beer.
Of course, a long time ago smoking was cool and good for you.

Not true. You can drink once a year and be an alcoholic.

your style of drinking is a red flag.

    trust me. I know.

everything fun has to be labeled as a "problem"

if me binge drinking every few months is a problem, well, its a problem im fine with.
